Itinerary-
Day 01: Delhi - Corbett (260 km, 06 hrs drive)
In the morning we will pick you up from Delhi and then will drive towards Jim Corbett National Park. Upon arrival, transfer to a wildlife resort. For the rest of the day you are free to unwind yourself. Dinner and overnight stay at the resort.
The Jim Corbett National Park
Located in the foothills of Uttarakhand, Jim Corbett is the first national park established in Asia. Honored as a national park in 1936, this wildlife destination got its name from Edward James Corbett. He was a British hunter, who later turned into conservationist and contributed in the establishment of Corbett National Park. Presently, Corbett provides a safe and healthy habitat to one of the most beautiful beasts of the woods – the Royal Bengal Tigers. Wildlife enthusiasts pay a visit to Corbett just to get a glimpse of the big cats.
Day 02: Corbett
Early in the morning, you will enjoy jeep safari amid the dense woods of the Corbett National Park. Later, return to the hotel for lunch. Post lunch, we will take you to the Garjiya Temple and Corbett Museum (this museum was originally the home of E. James Corbett and has preserved the memories of the hunter turned conservationist). Come back to the resort for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 03: Corbett – Nainital
In the morning, we will proceed towards Nainital. During the journey, we will visit the Kurpatal and Corbett Falls. Check into a hotel on arrival. Relax for the day. You are free to explore some of the local sightseeing spots like Mall Road or you can enjoy boat ride on Naini Lake. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Nainital
Situated at a height of 1,938 meters (6,358 feet) above sea level, Nainital is one of the must visit destinations of India. It is a beautiful hills station, which is known for holding the virgin beauty of Mother Nature. Visitors are left spell bound after witnessing the unmatched exquisiteness of Nainital.
Day 04: Nainital
Though one single day is not enough to soak in the true essence of Nainital, we will try our best to make you explore every famous tourist hot spot of the place. During this sightseeing tour, you can also bag some famous and exclusive items from the local market.
Day 05: Nainital – Kausani
After breakfast, we will head towards Kausani via Ranikhet. In Ranikhet, we will be paying a visit to Chaubatia, Kalika and Upat. Spend the day in leisure, followed by dinner and overnight stay in a hotel at Kausani.
Kausani
117 kilometers from Nainital, Kausani is located at a height of 1890 meters in the Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand. Because of its exceptional natural splendor, Mahatma Gandhi named Kausani as the “Switzerland of India”. Kausani provides an exceptional vista of various Himalayan peaks like Trisul, Nanda Devi and Panchchuli. Moreover, it stands on the top the ridge amidst dense Pine trees overlooking Someshwar valley on one side and Garur and Baijnath Katyuri valley on the other on Almora-Bageshwar-Didihat Highway.
Day 06: Kausani – Auli
In the morning after breakfast, we will drive towards Auli via Joshimath (255 km; 9 - 10 hrs). Upon arrival proceed to your mountain resort by a rope trolley. Rest of the evening is at leisure for individual activities, followed by overnight at the resort.
Day 07: Auli
Auli welcomes you with the enchanting vistas of Western Himalayas. For the entire day you are free to bask in the magnificence of the place. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08: Auli – Rudraprayag
Early in the morning after breakfast, we will proceed for Rudraprayag. This place has been named after Lord Shiva (Rudra) and is famous for having various shrines. Moreover, it is blessed with various natural marvels like lakes and glaciers that create a wonderful sight for nature lovers. Upon arrival, check into a hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, or you can indulge in some individual activities, followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 09: Rudraprayag – Haridwar
The first half of the day is dedicated to temple tour. We will be taking you to different shrines located in and around Rudraprayag. Thereafter, we will drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival check into a hotel and enjoy an overnight stay.
Day 10: Haridwar – Delhi
In the morning, we will be visiting the Ganga ghat and famous temples of Haridwar. Later, we will drive back to Delhi. On reaching, we will transfer you to airport or railway station for your journey back home.
